Gabriel is my old nemesis.
I’m the girl that always fought back.
He has every reason to hate me as much as I hate him.
Now that he found me, he’s determined to make me pay for our past.

MY REVIEW
ARC Source: Author via Enticing Journey Book Promotions
“Fraud” is book 2 in the “Antihero Inferno” series. I was nervous about Gabriel book since the teaser at the end of book 1. He’s a liar after all and ready to destroy Ivy’s life. To be honest, I started this book with not the best feelings about Gabriel, I didn’t like him at all! Gabriel and Ivy’s constant back and forth became frustrating for me and for the first half of the book I felt like there wasn’t anything else but these two playing cruel pranks to each other! However, around 65% my thoughts changed. Things started to get more interesting and finally bigger players were brought into the game!
Gabriel and Ivy are two characters with long history. If you read the first book, then you already know that these two have an ongoing war for quite some time. With all the apparent hatred between them I couldn’t fathom these two as a couple. Strangle it worked at the end! There’s more to both of them than what I initially though, and I must say that Ivy is the perfect match for Gabriel, his equal in every sense!
With all that being said, I did enjoy the book, not as much as the first one though. I have a feeling that the next book, Ezra’s story is going to be my favorite! That last glimpse into his mind made me giddy for “Violence”!!!
