Ninth Circle.
Also known as Tanner Caine.

He is a temptation with cold, dark eyes.
A man with a seductive smirk and a body built for pure sin.
The linchpin of a group of wealthy bad boys known as the Inferno.

A dark presence that repels as much as he attracts, Tanner is the poisoned apple I want to bite even when I know it will destroy me.

Our story started in college, but I ran from him so far I believed I was safe.
I should have known he’d find me eventually.
I should have known that nobody escapes.

He has me in his sights again with an offer I can’t pass up.
I know better than to make a deal with the Devil.
Not unless I’m willing to pay his sensual price…

***Each novel in the series depicts a unique romance, but the plots through each book connect in one world. For the best experience, read the series in order.

Nine ruthless men. Nine unrepentant sinners. Nine irresistible manipulators that would do you a favor if you promised to pay the price.

“Treachery” is the first book in the “Antihero Inferno” series. The author definitely knows how to start with a bang! This book is something else. Get ready to meet nine men determined to bring you to your knees. First up the ninth circle, Treachery aka Tanner Caine!!

The book was one mindfuck after another. There’s no denying that Tanner is a master manipulator, a man you won’t want as an enemy. Unfortunately for Luca, she’s been on his radar since college. I can’t possibly begin to explain all the things that are happening. Some of Tanner’s plans are messed up and definitely not something you can think of!

After fleeing Yale 3 years ago, Luca is a bad place once again. Both her parents are dead, and her cheating husband filled for a divorce. What comes to top everything is Tanner resurfacing into her life, as her husband’s attorney. Tanner never let Luca really go. He has been keeping taps on her all those years. He’s once again back wanting to make a deal with her, to have her in his control.

A maelstrom. That’s what Tanner is. Whether good or bad. He is a violent turmoil that sucks you down. Until you no longer care that you are drowning.

Tanner is something else! He has the ability to make and execute plans that you won’t see coming. Luca came into his life because of his father’s orders but the fact that she wouldn’t bow down to him, is what ultimately kept him interested. She’s fierce and has a backbone of steel. She knows that he can’t really beat him in his own games, but she sure tries!

Luca and Tanner’s story was really good! Lily White gave us characters we hate to love while weaving a gripping story full of secret agendas and hidden players. I loved the backstory and I’m looking forward to the rest of the stories. Next up we have “Fraud”, Gabriel Dane’s story!!!
