SYNOPSIS
What happens when you’re stalked by Death? You fall in love with him, of course.
Pagan Moore doesn’t cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.
Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn’t let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he’s dead.
Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn’t realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all.
He is Death and he’s about to break all the rules.

MY REVIEW
3.5 Stars
Format: Kindle Book (Freebie)
This was another buddy read with Jamsu! It looks like we only buddy read paranormal romances! I think that “Existence” was one of the first kindle books I got, but never read it. Jamsu mentioned that she wanted to reread it, so I took the opportunity to finally read it.
Pagan is in her senior year of high school. She knows that something’s different for her, since she can see souls. It’s a secret she kept from her friends and family because she fears that they won’t understand. This year is different for her because there’s a soul that talks to her and interacts with her, Dank. Her day to day life changes. She has to tutor the school’s quarterback, Leif, and she fights it at first, since she doesn’t really like him. She doesn’t know that from one on everything will change for her.
The concept of the story is really interest. I haven’t read many books with souls and ghosts, so it was a nice change. I didn’t really like how Pagan was treating Leif. It felt unfair because he was nothing but kind and good with her. There are some pretty big revelations; I didn’t see all of them coming. The book left me with a big question I need answered, so we’ll get to book 2 soon!!!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Abbi Glines is a #1 New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of the Rosemary Beach, Sea Breeze, Vincent Boys, Field Party and Existence series. She never cooks unless baking during the Christmas holiday counts. She believes in ghosts and has a habit of asking people if their house is haunted before she goes in it. She drinks afternoon tea because she wants to be British but alas she was born in Alabama. When asked how many books she has written she has to stop and count on her fingers. When she’s not locked away writing, she is reading, shopping (major shoe and purse addiction), sneaking off to the movies alone, and listening to the drama in her teenagers lives while making mental notes on the good stuff to use later. Don’t judge.
