“Full Court Press” is the author’s debut novel. I must say that her first book is really promising and I’m curious to see what she’s working in the future!

Kelsi is a schoolteacher and a single mother to a 5-year-old boy, Carson. She’s been raising her son alone, since her ex-boyfriend didn’t even bother to drive her at the hospital when she went into labor; the basketball game he was watching was more important. Because of that she has a hatred for the game. However, she’s forced to attend a Hawks basketball game after she loses a bet.

Landon Prince is one of the star players for the Atlanta Hawks. He thought he’ll be a bachelor for some years to come, but that changes when he ends up on top of Kelsi after a game “accident”. He’s instantly mesmerized by her and invites her to the after party…!

These two have some serious chemistry! Carson is extra cute, and I laughed with his antics every time. I loved how considerate Landon is and how he though of Kelsi and Carson as a package deal from the start. He’s not the typical douche player and that was really refreshing!

If you are looking for a light read, with the right amount of hotness and drama to pass your time then here you have it!!!
