MY REVIEW
3.5 Stars
Format: Ebook
It’s been a while since I buddy read a book with Jamsu. I have been hearing about this book and the tv show for some time, so when Jamsu told me that she ordered the book we decided to read it together! This time we read certain chapters every day and discussed them at night.
I had mixed feelings about the book. The first few chapters were kind of boring, because of all the information we had to learn. After that it was quite interesting! I was a little shocked with some revelations and sad with some of the deaths. I didn’t like some of Elena’s actions and her behavior considering Clay and Philip.
It was a pretty good book. I have the feeling that I enjoyed the book more that Jamsu, since she knew much of what was happening because she saw the tv show first. I don’t know if I’m going to watch the show soon but I’m certainly curious about what happens next in the series!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Kelley Armstrong has been telling stories since before she could write. Her earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers’ dismay. All efforts to make her produce “normal” stories failed.
Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked away in her basement writing dungeon. She’s the author of the NYT-bestselling “Women of the Otherworld” paranormal suspense series and “Darkest Powers” young adult urban fantasy trilogy, as well as the Nadia Stafford crime series. Armstrong lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, kids and far too many pets.
