May Sage is a new author to me. I haven’t read anything like this book before, so I wanted to give it a try!

Melpomene is part of a clan of Muses. She’s been living in Paris for the last century and a half, brewing potions and selling books. Her clan wants her back but she’s stubborn and doesn’t want to return to Greece.

Caim has been an advisor to the Silver Lord for quite some time. After someone killed all the Lords of Sidhe, he finds himself fighting his way to become the regent of the Silver circle.

The chaos in Sidhe affects the immortals of Earth as well. The Iron lords are kidnapping them to find any heirs that may escaped to Earth. Mel was kidnapped as well and now she’s pushed into a world she thought was only a myth!

The first half of the book was a little slow-paced for me because of all the information we needed to learn about the world-building of the book. However, the last chapters were my absolute favorites. It’s when the connection between Mel and Caim started to form and some interesting facts about both their pasts were revealed! The book may not be heavy on romance, but what happened at the end peaked my interest and I really want to see what happens next!!!
