SYNOPSIS

Adeline

It was completely unexpected. I’d never imagined he would come into my life. From the moment I met him, I knew there was no going back. He made me feel things I had never experienced before:

Safety

Love

Happiness

I was floating on air. Nothing could touch me with him by my side. He became my everything.

Smiley

I’d never expected my life to change upon walking into the Devil Souls MC. At first glance, I almost fell on my ass, and I knew I had to have her. She was everything I never knew I wanted, and hell if that didn’t stir something in me. Adeline gave me something I had been missing my whole life:

Passion

Desire

Contentment

I’m the retired president of the Grim Sinners MC but, in the end, you never really leave. The Devil Souls and The Grim Sinners clashed and were brought together to fight the biggest battle yet.

We had to protect our families at any cost.

First of all I love MC romances and this one is one of my favorites 😍 I’m so glad I picked up this book. I haven’t read any of the author’s books before but this MC romance is everything!! Adeline and Smiley’s story sucked me in and I devoured it without realizing it!

Adeline hasn’t led the easier life. After her parents tossed her out, when she was 18, she found herself with the wrong crowd; prostitution and drugs. Her life became more complicated when she finds out that she’s pregnant. After some events in her life and many years ago, she’s finally free. Now 40 years old she has both the mentally and physical scars to show for her past years. I really felt for her. She truly struggled most of her young and adult life. What made her earn my respect was the fact that even through these circumstances she tried to do the best for her daughter.

Her son-in-law is part of the Devil Souls MC and she’s kind of the grandmother of the club. All the babies love her and she looks after them, when their parents are working. It really warmed my heart how she loved these children like they were her own. Her mother instinct haven’t been satisfied since she didn’t have the chance to race her daughter properly.

Smiley is the best thing that could happen to her. His attraction to her is instant; she nearly knock him on his butt when he sees her! He’s good for her, he treats her like a queen and he’s determined to give her everything. It was both sad and fascinating to see Adeline going through many firsts; her first true kiss, her first date, her first time making love. Smiley’s tenderness and patience is really cute and heartwarming.

When her past catch up with her, Smiley is there to help her. He’s determination to protect her and terminate anyone who wishes her harm made me love him even more! He truly cares for her and he’s really protective of her.

The action and romance scenes through the book are awesome and I really enjoyed them!! The end left us with more promises for what to come featuring the grown up MC babies! I loved meeting all the characters and I’m definitely going to read their books as well..I can’t wait!!!
