You hang out at home plate and stop playing the field.

He’s sexy and irresistible. I’ve done my best to ignore the magnetism that flows between us. I don’t need complications in my life. I can’t get wrapped up in his world, the last thing I need is to get attached to a professional athlete. I don’t have time for heartbreak.

Something about her pulls me in. I want to get to know her. I want a chance to show her I’m more than just my career, my paycheck. I’m the man for her. I know I am. No matter how much she resists this connection between us. It doesn’t change the fact that she’s my grand slam.

5 Stars

I really liked Easton and Larissa’s story!! Two main characters that peaked my interest from the first pages and made me want to find out more about them.

Easton is not your typical baseball player; he’s sweet and kind, doesn’t like to sleep around and instead want a woman to settle with happily like his parents. Here comes Larissa. She’s shy and closed-off, doesn’t give him a chance to break her walls and get to know her better. Larissa made me curious; she kept talking about other complications in her life and I was interested to find out more.

I really like the book and I would totally recommend it to any of you who’s a fan of a sexy sweet athlete and a shy heroine!!
