nerdgasm (noun): an emotional climax at the peak of intense (sometimes sexual) excitement, characterized by a deep attraction to nerdy things and/or people.
My stutter makes it easy to become the center of attention for all the wrong reasons, so I try hard to stay out of the spotlight.
But when Addison Mitchell breezes into the class I TA for, she turns my world upside down, shaking me out of my comfort zone.
Confident and bold, her wandering hands set my body on fire.
She sees the real me, and she’s still interested.
I’m completely out of my element, yet I’ve never felt more alive.
Fingers crossed we’re not a one-off fling.
I have a lot to learn, but I’m willing to make this work.
I’m going to give her more than a nerdgasm.
I’m going to give her my heart.
This is seriously an adorkable book! I loved every second of it!!
The book starts with Theodore’s early school years where everyone made fun of him because of his stutter. Now a 23-year-old, Theodore have managed to get his stutter under control. Enter Addison, a girl in the class he’s a TA for. Before actually seeing her in class, she bumps into him.
Addison is instantly attracted to him; she loves the whole nerdy thing he has going! Theo is also attracted to her but he’s shy. She makes him that nervous that his stutter’s come back when she’s around.
I liked how Addison came out strong and pursue him instead! It’s good for women to make the first step sometimes!! Theo is really cute and his stutter is adorable. Their relationship is sweet and Addy really help him to feel more confident and to not be afraid to be the center of attention. Theo is a boyfriend every girl needs, he respects her and put his needs on hold for her.
I really loved the book!! It’s equally nerdy and sexy 😛 A must-read with some serious relationship advice that many boys need these days!
